FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Everything You Need to Know About DTF-UV Transfers
Find quick answers about DTF gang sheets, UV DTF transfers, artwork setup, turnaround times, application, and shipping.
1. What is a DTF gang sheet?
A DTF gang sheet is a single sheet that contains multiple logos, designs, or artwork layouts printed together. It helps you maximize print space, reduce wasted material, and lower your cost per design. This is a popular option for brands, print shops, and customers who need several graphics on one sheet.
2. What file formats do you accept?
We recommend high-resolution PNG and PDF files with transparent backgrounds. For the best print quality, artwork should be created at 300 DPI at the exact print size you want. Low-quality files, screenshots, or flattened backgrounds can affect the final result.
3. Do you edit or review uploaded artwork?
We print artwork as it is submitted. Please make sure your sizing, spelling, transparency, colors, and image quality are correct before placing your order. If your file is low resolution or not prepared properly, the final print may not come out as expected.
4. What fabrics work with DTF transfers?
DTF transfers work on cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends, and many performance fabrics. They can be applied to both light and dark garments, making them a flexible choice for T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, sweatshirts, and more.
5. What are the heat press settings for DTF transfers?
Standard application is usually around 300–320°F for 10–15 seconds using medium pressure. After peeling, a second press for 3–5 seconds with parchment paper or a finishing sheet helps seal the design and improve durability. Always test your press settings if you are using a new garment type or different press machine.
6. What is UV DTF and what can it be used on?
UV DTF is a transfer made for hard surfaces and does not require heat to apply. It works best on smooth surfaces such as glass, acrylic, plastic, metal, tumblers, mugs, jars, and other similar products. It is a strong option for custom branding, promotional products, and decorative hard goods.
7. How long does processing take?
Most orders are processed within 2–4 business days after payment and artwork submission. Production time can vary depending on current order volume, file readiness, and the size of your order. Large or rush orders may need additional coordination.
8. Do you ship nationwide and offer bulk orders?
Yes. We ship across the United States and handle both small and bulk orders. Whether you need one gang sheet, repeated business orders, or larger production quantities, our workflow is built to support reliable fulfillment with consistent print quality.
